C.J. Faust—
At every corner of the globe, in every culture, the concept of a bodiless intelligent evil exists. This shared belief in the presence of EVIL SPIRIT permeates the collective consciousness. The experiences associated: possession, oppression, infestation—they have always happened, they continue to happen today. So, we are left with one and only one conclusion.
As you open this book, as your eyes take focus on the text, know this. DEMONS ARE REAL. The Lord of Bones could very well be coming for you next...
…And this is what I wanted this series to be about. Bigger than anything previously done in demonic horror, I envisioned a sophisticated system of metaphysics and mysticism blended with demonological lore. I wanted to raise questions about the boundaries between religion and the occult. I wanted to look at the sometimes thin line that rides between good and evil, the ocean of gray that swells between polar opposites, white and black. I wanted to show you (my readers) how easy it is for what we are to be turned against us by an intelligence far greater and more insidious than anything we could imagine. Most of all I wanted to create a world full of intriguing characters and diabolic horrors that would scare you out of your skull, have you sleepless, give you nightmares, and in the end perhaps, leave you with something to think about.
Discover why readers are calling this horror novel "scary as hell." A perfect October horror story and perhaps the ultimate Halloween horror, something not of this world is stalking the residents of Wayfar. "A deeply scary book," reviewers warn that, "evil seems to live between the lines on every page, threatening the reader as much as the characters in the story." Praise abounds for C.J. Faust’s elegant style, his dynamic cast which spans demographics, and the expansive world he’s created. Hailed as “a full-on re-invention of demonic horror,” if you’re ready, if you aren’t too afraid, you can step into the darkness with The Lord of Bones for yourself.
